The illustration is inspired by the magnificent "Casa Sublim" located in the suburb of Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona. The home of the acclaimed Catalan sculptor Xavier Corberó, it is an extraordinary set of structures covering a massive 32 square kilometre area. The estate is a labyrinthine consisting of nine buildings with interconnecting structures and courtyards. Corberós labyrinth structures elaborates playful forms that are layered with archways and staircases, and the way that the light and reflections spread out the rooms through the arched and octagonal windows is stunning.
